East Metro STEAM Partnership (EMSP) is one of thirteen STEM Hubs in Oregon that make up the Oregon STEM Hub Network established by the Oregon Legislature. Established in 2015, EMSP serves the school districts, families, and students of East Multnomah County. We envision an East Metro community where youth, and adults have equitable access to and are engaged in STEAM learning that results in a skilled workforce and increased economic opportunity. We believe that Access Plus Opportunity Equals Achievement.

The Columbia Gorge STEM Hub is one of 13 regional STEM Hubs across Oregon. Our mission is to ensure all Gorge youth are STEM-literate & future-ready. We accomplish our goals through a Collective Impact model, partnering with schools/districts, community-based organizations and STEM industry leaders to increase access to quality STEM learning experiences for youth PreK-20. The Hub is supported by the Oregon Department of Education and local donors.

We support regional STEM Ecosystem of schools, educators, community based organizations, and business partners working to ensure that ALL learners in the region are STEM literate and future-ready. STEM literate students are able to think critically, design, and apply skills, concepts, and content from science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) to understand and solve problems. Future-ready learners have an interest and confidence in STEM topics, the capabilities and skills to succeed in the modern workforce, and a sense that a STEM career is possible for them.

As 2026 is now underway, we continue sharing amazing stories from the Oregon STEM Hub Network!

Portland Metro STEM Partnership at Portland State University envisions all students following their passions and interests into productive and rewarding careers, creative endeavors, and civic and community engagement. We see a future where there are no gates or barriers to student pursuit of interests and participation in STEM programs and careers, as every student is provided adequate and engaging education in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

We believe education should be a place where curiosity, creativity, and innovation meets learning. Our mission centers on supporting educators and communities in providing the highest quality STEM programming to students positioned furthest from STEM success. We deliver this support through professional development, in-school programming, educator coaching, and technology and equipment resources. This comprehensive approach provides students the experiences they need to thrive in an increasingly complex, data-driven, evidence-based world, whatever their chosen career or life direction.
