We’re the Columbia Gorge Wind & Water Association (CGW2.org), a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization helping to make The Gorge a better place for all Wind-Riders since 1987 As we have since our inception as The Columbia Gorge Windsurfing Association (CGWA) over 30 years ago, The new Columbia Gorge Wind & Water Association (CGW2) works to establish, improve, maintain, and protect high-quality, safe Gorge launch-sites for windsurfing, kiting, paddling and foiling.

Wed June 17th @ 5:30 - Kiters, Wingers, Paddlers, Windsurfers, Foilers - Come down on the 3rd Wednesday of each month for the Gorge Wind Social at Ferment Brewing in their Beer Hall.
There will be a free raffle and some cheeky remarks around 6:30 pm. Get up to date on the latest Gorge wind-rider happenings, hang with old friends, and maybe make some new wind buddies.
Don’t miss the best social gatherings of the wind season.

To whatever extent your experience and lifestyle allow, Columbia Gorge Wind & Water Assoc. (CGW2.org) needs your help with its efforts to make The Gorge a better place for all Wind-Riders.

Since 1987, CGW2.org Volunteer Windsurfers, Kiters, Wingers, Paddlers, Foilers and more have dedicated themselves to supporting the Columbia Gorge Wind-Riding Community by helping to:

Establish, maintain, improve, and protect dozens of Gorge launch-sites for Columbia River Wind-Riders.

Conduct fun, social, and instructional events such as gear swap meets, safety clinics, competitions, and celebrations that help support The Gorge Wind-riding Community.

Offer Youth and Families access to beginner wind-riding kits at low or no cost.

Produce informational print, video, and Web media about Gorge wind-riding.

Sponsor / Partner with other Gorge orgs, businesses, and authorities who share our vision.

Whether you’re a full-time or seasonal Gorge resident, a regular or new visitor with a passion for riding Gorge wind, we’re asking that you visit us here https://cgw2.org/contact using the Subject Line “Volunteer.” Share your contact info so we can add you to our list of potential volunteers. We’ll reach out as needs arise.

Please add a few words on any specific areas of interest (i.e., swap meets, launch-site work parties, youth programs, competitions, community outreach, media production, fundraising, social events and/or other valuable skills you might bring so we can match you accordingly.
