Apparently it’s time to let your voice be heard, again! The county voters decided they didn’t want development on the Port Marina Green waterfront property in 1995. Now the current commissioners have decided to ignore the voters wishes to built a boutique hotel. Do we need another hotel on 5he waterfront? Let them know your thoughts?

Some folks are reporting theft in some of the Waterfront areas😕, please lock your doors and be careful. Sadly, Hood River is just like any other community when it comes to vandalism.

One of our favorite items at the park just got a new update for a softer landing, sponsored by the Waterfront Community Park Association and the City of Hood River and installed by the Hood River Public Works Crew, thanks everyone and it looks great everyone!

The City has added new softball to the climbing rock and the Waterfront Park is all spiffed up and ready for the holiday weekend.

The Waterfront Park and beaches are open however the Children's Play area is still closed. All Park information is available on the City's website.

Let's all try to do our part to get the Park clean! Thanks Folks.

If you pack it in, please PACK IT OUT. Despite putting out more garbage bins and collecting more frequently, the City is unable to keep up with debris increases at Waterfront Park. Much of the trash is generated by people bringing in food to enjoy in the park and then leaving trash in and near trash bins. Please dispose of trash where food was purchased or plan ahead to PACK IT OUT. Thanks for your help.

I know you missed your neighborhood park, and we are so happy that many of them are open again!
In order to keep them open, please observe social distancing, bike or walk to parks (don't drive), and stay away from closed areas.
Certain parks such as the waterfront park, and play structures are still closed.
