I spent the majority of this fall writing a manual for a 200hr yoga teacher training program. A fascinating task, to put something as tactile, wild and sensual as yoga into a document on a laptop. Hilarious. Teaching is always like that though. We’re trying to bridge the gap between the wordless nature of things and the structural realm of bodies and breath. After twelve years of teaching I still find excitement in the act of striving towards my best work, albeit always falling short of what is possible. There are always new places to grow into, new ways to discover myself and others.
Whether you have an interest in teaching yoga classes or not is irrelevant. This training is for people who want to explore connection, communication, self-responsibility, healing and growth from within.
I’ve learned a great deal from many teachers over the years, notably Stephanie Adams and Annie Carpenter, who both have their own incredible trainings also available. This program was birthed at Yoga Samadhi Columbia Gorge with Pamela Stone Chambers at the helm, holding space with disarming awesomeness.
Janet Stone, Aiyisha Castillo and Kathy Kacena will be teaching modules throughout the program.
