Do you have a few hours a week to help an older neighbor?

Benzie Senior Resources needs more volunteers to help deliver meals to a growing number of older adults in our community. You can volunteer as often (or as occasionally) as your schedule allows.

Here are some sample schedules:
Weekly: Deliver one day each week
Twice a month: Deliver every other week
Substitute or emergency backup: When a regular driver is unavailable
Seasonally: Help during the summer, holidays, or when our "snowbird" volunteers are away

Here are some ways to help:
Individually, or paired with a partner, spouse, or friend
As a group (your church or civic group alternates people as needed to cover a route)
Through business-sponsored volunteer days (when employers allow staff members to periodically volunteer)

This program is about more than food! It's also an opportunity for a friendly visit and check-in to make sure our older neighbors are doing well.
