Behind every kid who finally gets that tent set up on their own, there’s usually a dad trying his hardest not to step in and do it for them.
To the Den Dads who spend their weekends wrangling a pack of energetic Cub Scouts, we see you. To the dads loading up the truck for a high adventure trip, figuring out the perfect weight distribution for the Pinewood Derby car, and teaching the real meaning of kuleana (responsibility), thank you.
Scouting is a commitment from the whole ‘ohana. It’s the late-night packing sessions, the long drives to camp, and the steady, quiet support that tell them they can handle whatever the trail throws their way. Through every learning curve, you are right there alongside them, giving them the foundation to dream big and grow into strong, capable young leaders.
Happy Father’s Day to all the incredible dads, uncles, grandfathers, and mentors who make the Aloha Council possible. Your keiki are better for it, and so is our community.
