Mark Meckler is headed to Hawai‘i to help launch the work for 2027
Hawai‘i has always stood for self-government, service, and a fierce commitment to home. Now, as the Hawai‘i Convention of States team prepares to launch its 2027 grassroots and legislative effort, COSA President Mark Meckler is coming to O‘ahu to help get the work underway.
Meckler will be on O‘ahu October 12–14, meeting with supporters, community leaders, prospective volunteers, legislators, and local media. The centerpiece of his visit will be a public Convention of States Town Hall on Monday, October 13, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the O‘ahu Veterans Center.
The Town Hall will be an opportunity for Hawai‘i citizens to hear directly from Meckler about the Convention of States movement, the Article V process established by the Founders, and the urgent need to rein in an increasingly unaccountable federal government.
Hawai‘i Convention of States State Director Mark White will also speak, along with Hawai‘i state representative Elijah Pierick. Their participation underscores an important truth: restoring constitutional limits on Washington, D.C., will require engaged citizens and courageous state leaders working together.
“I’m incredibly excited to visit Hawai‘i and meet the patriots who are working to restore the proper balance between the states and the federal government,” Meckler said. “This Town Hall is an opportunity to help kick off Hawai‘i’s 2027 legislative and grassroots efforts, equip new volunteers, and build the relationships necessary to move this important cause forward. Hawai‘i’s voice matters, and I am eager to work alongside citizens and leaders across the islands.”
