Hawaiian Islands Honor Flight Hawaiian Islands Honor Flight (HIHF) 501(c)(3), serves the Veterans of the Hawaiian Islands and is a non-profit branch of the nationwide Honor Flight Network.

Honor Flights focus are WWII, Korean War, Vietnam War and Terminally ill Veterans. Hawaiian Islands Honor Flight (HIHF) serves all of the Hawaiian Islands and is a non-profit branch of the nationwide Honor Flight Network which consists of over 130 independent “hubs” across America. HIHF escorts veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit their respective memorials using monies donated by individuals, fo

undations, associations, business owners and corporations who wish to recognize our veterans’ contributions and thank them for their service and sacrifice to the United States and its citizens. Top priority for our trips is given to the most senior veterans (WWII and Korea) and to veterans who have terminal illnesses.

Operation Mail Call is a fantastic way that FAMILIES ⭐️ SCHOOLS ⭐️ BUSINESSES ⭐️ ORGANIZATIONS ⭐️ SCOUTS ⭐️ CLUBS ⭐️ can participate! Simply write a gratitude note or submit a coloring. There are many Thank You Veteran coloring pages found on the internet.
PLEASE SHARE THIS POST and TAG SOMEONE to also participate!!Join us in honoring our Veterans through MAIL CALL for our October 2026 Inaugural Mission!

As part of every mission and mimicking to their active duty. Our Veterans are given cards, letters, and children’s drawings sent in from their loved ones, community organizations, individuals and school children thanking them for their service to our nation.
Please help us gather mail for our veterans! We hope to have a full bag of mail for each veteran who will be flying with us. Ask your friends, family, church groups, co-workers, schools, etc.
Things to keep in mind for those sending large batches of mail for all veterans on the flight:
· Handwritten cards or letters are most appreciated.
· Please do not send other objects or gifts. They cannot be transported.
· Mail should be addressed to “Hero,” “Trailblazer,” “Veteran,” (avoid referring to any specific branch of service.
· Sign ONLY your first name, an organization name is also appreciated. Please do not add any other information about yourself.
· Do not date the letters, cards, drawings, etc.
· Don’t use staples, pins, or anything else that could injure fragile hands.
· Drawn/colored pictures are very appreciated from children, but avoid using dark colored paper so it can be easily read.
