It’s been THREE YEARS since our last love letter to our friends, families, and partners. If you’re not yet a subscriber, here’s a glimpse of what’s inside our latest newsletter. We have so many partners to celebrate and learnings to share, but it’s already a lot for one installation; more to come in the next weeks and months!

Itʻs that time again! The Nā K**a Kai Ocean Safety and Ocean Intelligence PD course for SY2025-26 is about to splash, starting with Kauaʻi!  Kumu Klinics are FREE in-person events that allow 15 lucky teachers to explore the world of Nā K**a Kai’s experts - young watermen and women who are passionate about ocean, culture, and stewardship.  We are so grateful for the generosity of our funders who support us in bringing the Nā K**a Kai Ocean Clinics once a year to Kauaʻi, Maui, and Hawaiʻi Island.

Sign up for the August 30 Kauaʻi clinic via the Nā K**a Kai website (https://nakamakai.org/kumu/).   Also sign up for the August 16 teacher orientation via this http://bit.ly (https://bit.ly/NKKPDE32025); information about past and present PD and PDE3 offerings will be shared by our EI team.  

We look forward to another season of sun, salt, and smiles with Nā K**a Kai and Hawaiʻi Kumu!
