✨ Meet Firefly ✨

Firefly is a sweet, gentle girl who is still building her confidence and learning to feel completely comfortable with people. 🤍

She can be a little shy at first, but with patience and kindness, her curious and playful personality starts to shine through. She loves to play and enjoys interacting once she feels safe and settled.

Firefly would do best in a calm, understanding home with someone who will give her a little time to adjust and let the relationship grow naturally. She’s making wonderful progress, and with the right person, we know she’ll continue to blossom into a loving companion.

Sometimes the sweetest bonds are the ones that take just a little time to build. 💕

🚨 URGENT: WE NEED YOUR VOICE NOW! 🚨

Testimony is due TOMORROW - Wednesday, August 26 at 11:59 p.m.

🛑 DO NOT ALLOW THE STATE TO DESTROY ANIMALS SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY EXIST ON PUBLIC LAND!

We are specifically opposing Proposed Rule Change 3 - Section 13-124-3.6.

Their proposed rule would:
❌ Ban humane community-cat feeding and management on DLNR lands
❌ Make TNRM unworkable in those areas
❌ Allow animals found running at large to be “impounded or destroyed”- owned or not
❌ Put lost, abandoned and free-roaming pets at risk without safeguards stated in the rule

DLNR lands are vast. They include many parks, forests, trails, wildlife areas, small-boat harbors and beaches and coastal lands across Hawaiʻi ...Some of these are the places that need TNRM the most!

If caregivers cannot feed, monitor, trap, sterilize and return cats, fewer cats will be fixed and reproduction will increase unchecked. The proposal provides no replacement plan to stop the breeding cycle.

We should be expanding access and funding for science backed TNRM - not shutting it down.

We support protecting Hawaiʻi’s native birds and endangered monk seals. But we strongly oppose giving the State broad authority to kill domestic animals.

💎 Meet Jewel & Mishmash 💕

These two beautiful girls have been through very different beginnings, but somehow found exactly what they needed in each other. Now, they’re looking for a forever home together. 🥹

🤍 Jewel is a stunning seal point Siamese who was rescued from a hoarding situation. She’s every bit as sweet as she is beautiful, with a gentle, loving personality and a soft spot for affection and companionship.

🐾 Mishmash had a rough start of her own. When she was rescued, she was covered in mange and scabbing. With lots of love, care, and time to heal, she blossomed into the healthy, happy girl she is today. She can be a little shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, she’s affectionate, playful, and loves curling up beside her people.

And these two absolutely adore each other. 💗 They cuddle, play, keep each other company, and have formed such a special bond that Jewel and Mishmash must be adopted together.

After everything they’ve been through, these best friends are ready for the next chapter of their story: a safe, loving home where they can stay side by side. 🏡🐾

🎉 39 humane traps!!! 🎉

We are incredibly grateful to Kauai Humane Society for this amazing gift to our rescue. They generously donated 39 humane traps that will soon be put to work helping community cats across Oʻahu.

These traps will allow us to safely trap more community cats for spay and neuter, helping the cats themselves while also reducing overpopulation and preventing countless future litters.

We’ll be getting these beauties cleaned up, prepped, and ready to go so we can get out there and stop those baby makin’ community cats from making more babies. 😂✂️🐈

Meet Linguini 🧡🖤

Linguini thought she had already found her forever home. She was adopted as a kitten and spent years knowing what it felt like to be loved and part of a family. Recently, due to medical circumstances within her family, Linguini was returned to Lucky Paws.

Coming back was understandably a little scary for her. But it didn’t take long before the sweet, affectionate girl underneath began to shine through again. 🥹❤️

Linguini loves pets, catnip toys, and spending time with her people. She has lived with children and truly enjoys being part of a family. She’s a loving, social girl with so much affection still waiting to be given.

Sometimes life takes an unexpected turn, and now Linguini is looking for someone to give her the next chapter she deserves: a loving home where she can settle in, feel safe, and belong again. 🏡❤️

🚨 The suspect has been identified.

Meet Ollie, our four legged “vandal” who decided an overnight kennel escape was the perfect opportunity to redecorate Lucky Paws. 😂

All jokes aside, Ollie is a feral cat we were rehabilitating before releasing him back to his colony, all healed up, neutered, and ready to head home. Apparently he wanted one last night of chaos before leaving. 🐈😂

No cats were arrested, and no charges will be filed.

🖤🤍 Meet Pebbles & Bam Bam, two 4 month old best friends looking for their forever home together! 🥹

These little lookalikes are part of our Flintstones Ohana, and while they came to us in different ways, they quickly became the best of friends.

Pebbles was rescued from the Waikiki/Kapiolani Park area with her siblings. She’s a busy, playful little girl who is always bouncing from one toy to the next, climbing, exploring, and showing off her impressive balancing skills. When she finally slows down, she loves belly rubs, chin scratches, and snuggles. 💕

Bam Bam was found hungry and dirty, walking along a sidewalk before eventually being transferred to Lucky Paws for a second chance. He’s the bigger and bolder of the pair, always one of the first to investigate something new, ask for attention, or climb to the highest spot he can find. He loves cuddles, belly rubs, Churus, and pretty much every toy he encounters.

As much as these two love everyone, they especially love each other. They play together, explore together, and curl up together when all those kitten adventures finally wear them out.

We would LOVE to find Pebbles and Bam Bam a home together! 🏡❤️
