There are 25 CyberPatriot CyberCamps planned for this Summer on Hawaii Island, Maui, Oahu, and Virtually. Both the Standard and Advanced camps are FREE. The camps are week-long and cover 20 hours of instruction. These camps are filling up quickly. Register at this link.

SANS Institute is offering all high school students, free of charge, CyberStart America, an immersive online learning tool for US high school students to discover the exciting world of cybersecurity.

Students gain free access to over 200 real-world challenges, train and qualify for life-changing college scholarships.

No prior experience in cyber or tech is necessary to participate in CyberStart America! The goal here is to have kids who come from all different backgrounds discover a talent in cybersecurity they didn’t know they possessed, or at the very least learn about cyber safety. All they have to do is TRY. And why not try it when it’s FREE?
Teachers don’t have to do a thing but to encourage their students to participate, since students can partake in the program independently.
Understand who is eligible for the program and key dates.
If students complete 20% of CyberStart Game, they automatically qualify for the National Cyber Scholarship Competition.

In an effort to have more active and recurring events in 2020, we will be holding a physical event site for the global Trace Labs missing persons CTF to bring the community together for a fun event with a great mission.

Cost:
You MUST register with the official event for $10. The local event will be free to participate on site.

Agenda:
Get people together to meet and participate in a hands-on shared goal.

Who can participate?
Anyone!! If you're on neighbor islands or other location but would like to participate with the local event, let us know and we'll connect you virtually and help you find a team and stream the live parts of the event.

Tentative schedule:
11AM: Kickoff with a workshop on OSINT basics for those that have never done an OSINT event
12-6PM: Actual event participation...GO GO GO!!
6-7PM: Networking and event wrap-up (maybe local prizes?!)

Join us for our 3rd edition of our 100% Virtual Global Missing CTF! Contestants of all skill levels are encouraged to participate!
