We loved hearing all of your diverse perspectives—as people who have never consumed cannabis, people who have been directly impacted by the war on drugs, and people who were just curious to learn more 🌺 One attendee even shared their personal experience growing up during Operation Green Harvest raids. RPS hosted our Honolulu screening of “Out of State” last weekend, and we are so grateful to everyone who spent their Sunday with us! After eating lunch and watching the film, we had a moving discussion about the realities of Hawaii’s carceral system and the challenges of reentry.

We are grateful to Hale and his ʻohana (featured in the film) for sharing their experience and insight with us.

Also, special thanks Central Union Church of Honolulu for sharing their space with us, commoncause and ACLU of Hawaiʻi for tabling, and Kristen Young for your time and organization.

In light of the hurricane, we are indefinitely postponing our “Out of State” screening on Maui. We hope everyone stays safe and dry this weekend.🤍

Our hearts are with Kauaʻi after Hurricane Lowell, and we are canceling our Līhuʻe event to give space to the restoration work happening.
