On Sunday, we traveled to Holy Family Church for the 9:45 a.m. English Mass celebrated by two Filipino Jesuit priests. Nearly half of the congregation consisted of Rotarians attending the Convention. At the conclusion of Mass, June birthday celebrants were recognized with a special blessing and a joyful rendition of “Happy Birthday.”

The Rotary International Convention is officially underway! We hopped on the free shuttle to TAINEX and joined thousands of Rotarians from around the world for an exciting opening day. The parade, featuring children from local schools and led by Rotary International President Francesco Arezzo, an orthodontist from Italy, was a colorful and energetic start to the convention.

The House of Friendship is buzzing with activity, offering vendors selling local products, food trucks, and countless opportunities to connect through Rotary Fellowships centered around shared interests such as wine, travel, music, and more. The spirit of fellowship, service, and international friendship is alive and well as we begin this unforgettable Rotary experience. 🌎💙⚙️

Rotary fellowship was alive and well at our meeting last night. We enjoyed the company of visiting Rotarians, celebrated birthdays, recognized a new member as Rotarian of the Month and put Service Above Self into action by assembling hygiene kits for the Women in Need Shelter. Mahalo to all who participated—every kit was delivered the very next day.
