HYCC needs 15 volunteers for this event!

You will be helping with set up, breakdown, facilitating kids activities such as drawing & coloring with crayons while teaching about important enviromental & climate related topics such as trash, pollution, landfills, incineration facilities, recycling, chemical poisoning, marine debris, ocean ecosystems & marine life. Our coloring books & educational content is supplied by .

If you’re passionate about advocacy at the State & City, this event is officially sponsored by MOCA of the County of Honolulu and it’ll be happening in front of the State Capitol. We’re expecting 10k attendees w/ 100+ organizations. This is an incredible opportunity for University of Hawaii students to get community service training & to build up professional work experience with our program.

Our strategy to implement sustainability & authenticity into HYCC’s practices will be reflected by our core values to support sustainable business practices such as action plans to minimize negative impacts on the environment, society, and economic development, ensuring long-term viability & ethical responsibility by working to reduce carbon footprint, recycle & consume less energy.

10/5 Sunday 9am-3pm

About Justice Wilson: Justice Michael Wilson was appointed to the Hawaiʻi Supreme Court in 2014. Previously, Wilson served as a Circuit Court Judge of the First Circuit beginning in 2000. Now retired, he remains heavily engaged in environmental issues and criminal justice reform.
