🌺 What a way to kick off our 2026–2027 Hui year!🌺

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first Monthly Hui Event of the year! We loved seeing so many new faces, reconnecting with familiar ones, and watching everyone mingle, laugh, and have a little fun together. 💛

The Armed Services YMCA Hawaii, with generous support from Lockheed Martin and other community partners, is offering emergency financial assistance to eligible military servicemembers and their families (E1-E6) and/or military veterans, of all branches to include National Guard/Reserve, who were impacted by the recent storms on Oʻahu. Eligible families may receive up to $350 in store-specific gift cards to help offset storm-related expenses. Please submit your response by Friday, August 21, 2026.

Assistance is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis; submission of this interest form does not guarantee awarding of financial assistance.
Emergency Financial Assistance Details:
• Eligible military families (E1-E6), and/or military veterans, of all branches to include National Guard/Reserve impacted by the recent storms may receive up to $350 in store-specific gift cards.
• Pick up dates: August 25-27, between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM
• Pick up locations will be around the JBPHH, Schofield/Wheeler, or MCBH area.
• A valid military ID is required to confirm eligibility at pick up.

Important: Submission of the interest form is required to be considered for gift cards. Please complete the form in its entirety to receive a confirmation email with pick-up details.Assistance is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis; submission does not guarantee approval for financial assistance. Applicants selected to receive gift cards will be notified via confirmation email no later than Monday, August 24, 2026.

🚨 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TODAY!🚨

Unfortunately, our Fort Shafter Hui Thrift Shop was hit hard by Lala this past weekend, and we could really use some helping hands as we work to get the shop back in order. 💛

🙌 Come help TODAY anytime between 2–6 PM!

Even if you can only spare ONE HOUR, it will make a huge difference!

🎓 Have a high schooler who needs volunteer/service hours? This is a great opportunity for them to earn hours while giving back to our community!

No need to give up your whole afternoon—come when you can, stay as long as you’re able, and help us get our Thrift Shop back on its feet! 💪🌺

Many hands make light work, and we’d be so grateful for yours!💛

🀄️ What a great night for Mahjong!🀄️

We had so much fun playing, laughing, and even got to meet Brendi for the first time! 💕 And then there was Minna… who apparently came ready to destroy us all.😂👑

Congrats to our newly crowned Mahjong Queen, Minna!👑🀄️ She officially kicked everyone’s butt and earned those bragging rights!
