Donation Time! I decided to donate my Mom’s Nebulizer(Small Machine that turns liquid medicine into a mist that can easily be inhaled) to “Acts of Random Kindness Windward”….a Local Non Profit based in Waikane that helps individuals in need of assistance. On behalf of my Mom(Karen Tanaka) and RT Transitional Hope Charity Inc……May this item find its way to someone who really needs it! ❤️

Today is a very special day for me! June 19, 2025 makes 2 years that my Mom(Karen Tanaka) has passed. Today is also the Official Grand Reopening of RT Transitional Hope Charity Inc being open for business in Hawaii! 501c3 is registered with IRS and Articles of Incorporation are registered with DCCA! I find it Extremely Meaningful that Both are linked together on the Same Day. Coincidence……I don’t think so! Finally……I can finish what I started back in 2019………Helping People! Stay tuned for upcoming projects/events! 😊

RT transitional Hope Charity Inc. Has given people the opportunity to start fresh. This non-profit organization is new, and they have a mission to offer Hope to those who need it most. What sets this organization apart from others, is experience. Experience in Homelessness, Drug Addiction, Incarceration and incomprehensible demoralization. But also the experience in restructuring and rebuilding on a solid foundation. Ryan Tanaka is a prime example of these qualities and his mission to provide Hope for those who suffer from the same ailments he once did is why I believe this RT Transitional Hope Charity Inc deserves this grant. The lives of so many single mothers, homeless families, recovering addicts and incarcerated individuals need what Ryan Tanaka and Tony Austin can provide. Even with just a small amount of money RT transitional Hope Charity Inc has provided over 40 bags with hygienes, MRE (Meals Ready To Eat) and feminine hygiene products to homeless individuals around Honolulu. If that is what they can do with a small amount of funding, imagine the endless possibilities and lives that they can change with this Grant. This organization is has a vision, mission and purpose— will you help them succeed?

On 6/13/25, While working in the store on Friday….Another Older customer happened to come in using Oxygen tubes(Canula) for breathing. I asked him if he wanted more breathing tubes….but he thought i was going to charge him for it. I asked if i could gift it to him….he said ok. I still had Canula leftover to give away…….so I gave this nice gentleman a bag full of them on behalf of my Mom(Karen Tanaka) and RT Transitional Hope Charity. May this small donation make life a little easier.

On 5/27/25, Decided to keep the Giving Ongoing! Found more unused Caregiving Supplies in my Mom’s room. Thought of the perfect Non Profit Organization that can give it out to someone who might need it. The organization is called Acts of Random Kindness Windward….based out of Kaneohe. I have chosen to gift them these unused items(Adult Undergarments and Bed Pads) on behalf of my Mom(Karen Tanaka) and RT Transitional Hope Charity. May someone in need make good use of them. 😊

On 5/25/25, a nice older woman came into the store using an oxygen concentrator(oxygen breathing machine). It brought back memories of my Mom….who had end stage COPD/Emphysema before she passed away in June 2023. While talking with this nice lady, I asked her if her Oxygen Canula Tubes(Nasal Tubes) were getting expensive. She said her insurance didn’t pay for all of it and she had to pay the left over copay out of pocket. I asked her if I could gift her something I had bought for my mom while she was alive that I had saved all this time. She said ok. On behalf of my Mom(Karen Tanaka) and RT Transitional Hope Charity……I gifted her bags of supplies for her Oxygen Concentrator and Nebulizer Machine to help with medical expenses 😊.
