Passing along a message from the Benny and Faith Agbayani,
Hawaii Ballroom Dance Association's Dance Director & Associate Dance Director:
This has been a challenging year for all of us, and I hope this finds you all staying healthy and well.
As we slowly return to “normal”, Hawaii Ballroom Dance Association plans to reopen dance classes at the Aiea Dance Studio on May 3, 2021. In compliance with the City and County of Honolulu Reopening Strategy and CDC guidelines, initial class offerings will be limited to line dancing and basic ballroom dancing in shine position (“gentlemen on one side and the ladies on the other”). Social distancing, face masks, the cleaning and disinfecting of the facility and other measures will be practiced and enforced.
Chapters at other locations will remain closed until further notice. (Sorry Kaimuki Chapter... we still need to wait a little longer.)
We will let you know the details on registration and class offerings at the Dance Studio no later than the second week of April. Initial registration will be on a first come-first served basis as classes will be limited to 8 students.
It has been over a year since the closure, and I am sure everybody is anxious to get back to dancing. So, please spread the word about our reopening.
We hope to see you soon.
Updates will be sent by email from HBDA. Any questions or concerns regarding the dance program, please email HBDA ([email protected]).

Sincerely,
Benny and Faith Agbayani
