Orca makes a splash. So can you. 🐋 This March, join us for a 7 to 12 day service-learning trip where students work with local organizations across the Philippines on projects like restoring schools and building birthing health clinics. 🏗️

🌟 Staff Highlight 🌟 Meet Kanoa Namoca, Site Coordinator in our Teen Program!

Kanoa found the Y while searching for a job right out of high school, and what stood out to him was the positive influence it has on people and the community. Now he’s the one making that impact every day 🏀

“I enjoy being able to create a strong support system within our teens and molding them into the best versions of themselves.”

One of his proudest moments is watching teens grow more and more involved in volunteering for the Y and other programs over time. For Kanoa, investing in these teens means investing in the future 🌱

🌺📚 College Camp 2026 was one for the books.
This summer, our students stepped out of their comfort zones, built real connections, and got a taste of what college life can look like. From campus tours and workshops to Career Night, every moment was designed to help them see what’s possible.
College Camp built so many memories and students who are willing to change themselves for the better. This is only the beginning.
A huge mahalo to UNIQLO Hawaii for partnering with us and outfitting each participant with professional attire for Career Night. You showed up for our students in the best way.

Welcome to UH Mānoa! NSO 2026 was just the beginning, and we loved partnering with UH to help you jump into the community, connect with the ʻāina, and start finding your team. 🤙

We took on 4 Huakaʻi adventures across the island:
Making lei and talking story
- Tending to the land at Cares Waimānalo
- Learning traditional fishpond practices in Niu Valley
- Cultural workshops with self-defense through Takiʻa, traditional food prep, and local games

College is all about finding where you belong, and the Y has your back all year long!
