Former Athletic Director Jim Donovan and his family are Rainbow Warriors through and through. From Jim founding the UH Letterwinners Club in the ‘90s to his daughter Jackie leading it as president today, the Donovan ‘ohana is the definition of UH pride.

🏈🌈 A game-changing investment in UH student-athletes

The University of Hawaiʻi Foundation has announced a historic $1.5 million gift from the Kānaka Foundation to establish the Kuʻupau Endowment, creating a permanent source of Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) support for UH Mānoa student-athletes.

The announcement comes during UH Mānoa Athletics Giving Week (Oct. 9–19), highlighting the importance of sustained community investment in the future of Rainbow Warrior and Rainbow Wahine athletics.

In the wake of Hurricane Lowell, 80% of Kauaʻi Community College students report that the storm affected their ability to attend classes and complete coursework. To help the campus ʻohana navigate power outages, home repairs and basic needs, Kauaʻi CC hosted a Hurricane Recovery Resource Event.

Students connected with emergency aid, mental health counselors from sister campuses and essential supplies through the Hale Mālama program. A huge mahalo to Domino's Pizza, Kauaʻi United Way, Catholic Charities and everyone stepping up to support our students.
