At our July 2026 meeting, we gathered for a legendary episode of a Hawaii Angels tradition: Rob Robinson's monthly "Rob's Rants" presentation.

This month Rob announced the launch of a new startup "Homies to Gnomies", and people are just dying to get in 😉 If you were in the room, you got the full satirical show about this custom cremation + statuary service.

Bradford Crist presented ChargeMate AI, a customer support and experience platform for EV charging operators to reduce downtime, lower operating costs, and capture more revenue from existing infrastructure.

Raja Rajavel and Meryl Muldoon presented Vinolo by Lattek, a tabletop wine system that lets restaurants and wine lovers reduce alcohol glass-by-glass without sacrificing the soul of fine wine.

Miki Hardisty also shared an update on Olelo Intelligence. In the past year, Olelo grew from 24 locations to 138, won the Startup World Cup Hawaiʻi Regional, and earned the strong love and support of the Hawaii tech community.

Special thank you to the people who make these rooms happen every month: Joey Katzen, Alexi Drouin, Clif Purkiser, Chenoa Farnsworth, and everyone else who showed up last week to celebrate and support these founders. Mahalo nui loa!

At our June 2026 meeting, angel investors gathered to honor one of our longtime members and to hear two new founders pitch their startups.

We took a moment to celebrate Jack Schneider at his final meeting with us. Jack has been part of the Hawaii Angels ʻohana for many years. You'll be missed. Mahalo for everything, Jack. We wish you all the best!

We featured two companies who presented to our investor members:

Elven Technologies with Farid Ismayilzada, based in Sacramento, California, making flexible fire-resistant composite panels that help manufacturers protect equipment, vehicles, and buildings from lithium battery fires.

Nalu Athletic Club with Jason Howie, based on Oʻahu, a community sports facility that brings together basketball, volleyball, pickleball, and recovery services, with youth-sports anchor, fitness, and wellness.

Mahalo to Lane Kawaoka, and Liya Safina for stepping up as deal leaders, our board (Joey Katzen, Rob Robinson, Chenoa Farnsworth, Clif Purkiser, Alexi Drouin) and to all our members and investors for showing up to support.

Two founders took the stage at the Hawaii Angels March 2026 meeting to present their startups to our investor members.

MedServ Marketplace with Viraj Shah, based in Seattle, Washington, is a two-sided platform connecting hospitals and medical device companies with independent biomedical technicians to deliver faster, more flexible equipment service.

Relos with Zachary Farkas, based in Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi and the Bay Area, is a real estate automation platform that helps agents and brokerages turn signed purchase contracts into self-executing workflows that manage deadlines, documents, and compliance.

Mahalo to all of our members for braving the weather and showing up in person and online to support these founders.

Deep gratitude to our members, venture partners, and sponsors who consistently show up with capital, expertise, and aloha. This community exists because of your commitment.

For more than twenty years, Hawaii Angels has been a monthly forum where early-stage founders connect with experienced entrepreneurs and active angel and venture investors.

We keep coming back to this: Hawaii’s startup ecosystem is powered by people who show up for each other. This is why our mission is to support scalable early-stage companies.

As we wrap up another successful year at Hawaii Angels, we want to wish you and your ʻohana a restful holiday season and an energizing start to the new year. Mele Kalikimaka!
