The students, instructors, and principal of Ohtsu Ryokuyo High School in Yamaguchi Prefecture; the captain and crew of the Kaiyu Maru training fishing vessel; Professor Amy Wilson and students from Yamaguchi Prefectural University; Kitaguchi-sensei and students from Roosevelt High School; and proud members of Honolulu Yamaguchi Kenjinkai enjoyed a wonderful time together yesterday. Originally planned for Magic Island, we had to pivot to an indoor location at the last minute due to the torrential rains. We're so thankful to Pagoda Hotel GM John Teruya for his kind and generous hospitality, allowing us to gather in a space at the Pagoda Hotel. We had a joyous time together!
