Right now, families in Hawaii can wait 18 months to 2 years for an autism diagnosis, which delays access to critical early services. Our CEO, Patrick Klein, is determined to change that.

Patrick recently sat down with Pacific Business News and outlined his plans to lower those wait times, grow our team by becoming a top place to work and deepen our roots in the Hawaii community.

Mahalo to Pacific Business News for shining a light on the work happening here at ESH. The best is yet to come. 🌺🤙

April gives us a moment to elevate the conversation, but the work of acceptance doesn’t belong to a calendar.

Here at Easterseals Hawaii, Easterseals Northern California and Catalight, this is ongoing. Throughout the year, we partner with individuals and families to support goals, celebrate progress and build futures defined by what matters most to them. This is who we are.

🥚 These are some egg-ceptional humans.

Some of our amazing participants were at Eggs 'n Things, greeting the brunch-going public and helping to collect donations for Easterseals Hawaii. We even had a participant’s grandfather come in just to make a donation and support his grandson! 🥹🤙

There's still time to join in! All April long, dine in at any Oahu location, add a donation to your bill and know that your meal is making a real difference.

Mahalo to our longtime partner Eggs 'n Things for making mornings like this possible – over a decade of showing up, which means over a decade of supporting inclusion in our beloved community. ❤️🍳

"Your life and mine shall be valued not by what we take but by what we give." Edgar Allen, Easterseals National Founder

107 years ago, one man's grief became a movement. Edgar Allen set out to bring dignity into the disability space after seeing how people were treated firsthand. From a single hospital in a small Ohio town to thousands of locations serving millions of families across America, Easterseals has spent more than a century proving that one person's commitment to humanity can change everything.

Our people showed UP. 🩵🤙

ESH was out at the Hele for Autism Walk this . Seeing all of these people gathered together for autism awareness was a great reminder of why we do what we do every single day. Mahalo to everyone that came out to support autism and ESH!

So proud of this team. So proud of this community. 🌺

Easterseals Hawaii's Music for All exceeded all expectations.

A packed came together for a benefit concert celebrating for an evening of live music, community and genuine Aloha. The night delivered moments no one in attendance will soon forget.

When five of our own participants took the stage to dance hula while Kawika Kahiapo sang Hawaiian Lullaby, the venue went completely still before absolutely coming undone. And during the PHENOMENAL encore, as everyone's voices came together for Bob Marley’s 3 Little Birds, a video played on the screen behind them, featuring our clients and the real work we do every day, while the crowd danced with glowsticks in the dark. The energy was indescribable.

This is why Music for All exists. Not just to celebrate great music – but to honor and appreciate the people who inspire us every single day.

Mahalo to The Green, Kawika Kahiapo, emcees Jennifer Robbins and Dillon Ancheta of Hawaii Theatre Center, Hawaii News Now, our generous sponsors, and every volunteer and guest who made Music for All possible. The work continues, and nights like this remind us why.
