O‘ahu's very own LGBTQ+ country western dance club! On the 2nd week of the month, we meet on WEDNESDAY @ Liliha Food Court. Free dance lessons (6:30 pm)!

We meet the 1st, 3rd, 4th, & 5th TUESDAYS of the month at the Ala Wai Golf Course Clubhouse Ballroom (2nd floor), 6:30-9:00 pm. We do line dancing, two-step, waltzes, swing, and more! Monthly parties! Beginners welcome! We provide a fun and friendly social dance environment for Hawaii's diverse community (gay, le***an, bisexual, transgender, straight). Blazing Saddles Hawaii is a 501(c)(7) nonprofit social organization. All events include music, dance, food, & refreshments and are to***co and alcohol free! No entrance fee. Donations are gratefully accepted and help us pay for the room rental.

Aloha! Blazing Saddles is proud to be participating in the 2026 Honolulu Pride Festival (www.honolulupride.com)this Saturday (10/17). We will have a pick-up truck, float, and rainbow car in the parade, which begins at 3:00 pm. Our float is earlier in the long lineup, so be on the lookout for us. We will be grooving to tunes blasting from our speaker, waving, and passing out Blazing Saddles flyers along the route.

When we get to the International Marketplace, where the live cameras will be, we will get off onto the street and perform the line dance "Nothing Like This," in true flash mob style! At the festival itself, at the Waikiki Shell, we will be at the stage at 5:10 pm and performing the same line dance at 5:40 pm. Come join us for either or both. Our team will be wearing our Blazing Saddles t-shirts and black shorts for a uniform look.

A big thanks to both Robbie and Oli for all their prep work and organization for both. We couldn't have done it without you!

REMINDER: BLAZING SADDLES @ THE LILIHA FOOD COURT THIS **WEDNESDAY** (10/14)

As mentioned last week, the management at the Liliha Food Court (414 N School St - corner of Liliha & School) has moved our night there from the second Tuesday to the SECOND WEDNESDAY of the month, 6:30-9:00 pm. Come join us this week on our new night!

During the evening, there will be open dancing, and we will review some beginner line dances at different intervals, depending on the crowd.

The dance floor is located in the middle of the small food court, and there is no cover charge. We encourage you to purchase food or beverages from the vendors at the food court to help keep it that way. Most vendors close at 7:00 pm, so come early!

There is a good-sized parking lot, but it tends to fill up as the night goes on. We again recommend coming early and/or carpooling.

P.S. Our other dates at the Palladium (1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Tuesdays) will remain the same.

2) LILIHA FOOD COURT DATES CHANGED TO SECOND WEDNESDAYS
At the request of the owner of Liliha Food Court, we will be moving Blazing Saddles @ Liliha Food Court to the SECOND WEDNESDAY of the month, starting in October. So instead of being there on the second Tuesdays, we will instead be there on Wednesday, October 14, November 11, and December 9. Dawn & Isabel have created an updated calendar flyer, available on the Blazing Saddles website (www.BlazingSaddlesHI.org)

3) JOIN THE BLAZING SADDLES TEAM FOR THE HONOLULU PRIDE PARADE & FESTIVAL
Blazing Saddles won't just be in the October Pride Parade this year, we'll also be dancing at the Waikiki Shell during the Pride Festival! If you're interested in driving a truck, sitting on a float, flyer-ing the audience, or dancing at the festival, please contact Robbie Snyder ASAP! And to sweeten the deal, everyone who participates in the Pride Parade and Festival on Saturday, October 17th (at 3pm and 5pm, respectively) will receive a free Blazing Saddles T-Shirt!
