We meet every Tuesday (6:30-9:00 pm) at the Ala Wai Golf Course Clubhouse Ballroom, except for the second Tuesday of the month when we are at the Liliha Food Court. Free dance lessons (6:30 pm)! Beginners welcome! We provide a fun and friendly social dance environment for Hawaii's diverse community (gay, le***an, bisexual, transgender, straight). Blazing Saddles Hawaii is a 501(c)(7) nonprofit soc

ial organization. All events include music, dance, food, & refreshments and are to***co and alcohol free! No entrance fee. Donations are gratefully accepted and help us pay for the room rental.

BLAZING SADDLES' WEEKLY UPDATE:

Aloha! Mahalo to all of you who joined us at the Liliha Food Court during the last two weeks! We hope you enjoyed the extra opportunities to dance and socialize, and thank you for supporting the food vendors there.

This Tuesday (8/18), we will be back at the Palladium (Ala Wai Golf Course Clubhouse Ballroom, 2nd floor) at the usual time (6:30-9:00 pm). Depending on who shows up, we have two different plans. If we have a lot of beginners, we will either teach the beginner line dance "Alligator Smile" or "22." If we have predominantly more experienced line dancers, we'll either review the improver line dance "Take It" or "Fool 4 You." In other words, we'll play it by ear and modify based on our crowd.

Everyone, stay safe this weekend with Hurricane Lala approaching! Hopefully, all will be okay, and we'll see you for line dancing on Tuesday!

REMINDER: BLAZING SADDLES @ THE LILIHA FOOD COURT TONIGHT (8/11)

2nd Tuesdays are now at the Liliha Food Court (414 N School St - corner of Liliha & School), 6:30-9:00 pm, thanks to the owner and manager.

During the evening, there will be open dancing, and we will review a couple beginner and improver line dances at different intervals.

The dance floor is located in the middle of the small food court, and there is no cover charge. We encourage you to purchase food or beverages from the vendors at the food court to help keep it that way. Most vendors close at 7:00 pm, so come early!

There is a good-sized parking lot, but it tends to fill up as the night goes on. We again recommend coming early and/or carpooling.

The following Tuesday (8/18) we'll be back at the Palladium (Ala Wai Golf Course Clubhouse Ballroom - 2nd floor).

2) BLAZING SADDLES NOW EVERY TUESDAY (venues vary)!

As you know, Blazing Saddles runs at the Palladium (AWGCC Ballroom) on all Tuesdays, except for the second Tuesday of the month. We are pleased to announce that from now on we will have second Tuesdays at the Liliha Food Court, thanks to the generosity of its owner and manager! We've updated the Blazing Saddles website (www.BlazingSaddlesHI.org) to reflect this new schedule, so take a look.

One special note - we also don't have the Palladium on the first Tuesday in August because of a special event taking place there, but luckily we've arranged to be at the Liliha Food Court that week too. Again, check out our schedule on the Blazing Saddles website.
