1. Sunday, Aug 9, 2026 - General membership meeting at 11am at Neal Blaisdell park and Bangus Fundraising delivery at 1pm

2. Sept 5-6, 2026 (Labor Day weekend) - COVO convention at Maui Beach Hotel. Conference breakfast & lunch at Tante's Restaurant. Please confirm with us. More info to follow!

3. Saturday, Sept 12, 2026, 5pm to 9:30pm - DCF 33rd anniversary at UVC (United Visayan Hall in Waipahu)
Tickets: $45 each before August 22. $60 at the door. No Refund.
Theme: Leather, Lace, & Jeans 🤠👢🎉

4. Sunday, November 8, 2026 - GMM Potluck and Thanksgiving Celebration (location to be determine)

5. Sunday, December 13, 2026 - DCF Election & Holiday Party. Tentative location at UVC (United Visayan Hall) Venue sponsored by Corazon Nelson

BANGUS FUNDRAISING -
Let's work together to make this happen! Who's attending the COVO convention? Please let us know. Let's assist each other in fundraising to help with convention costs. We value your support so any help is appreciated - $16 each for a package of PLAIN or MARINATED BANGUS. Delivery on August 9 at 1pm at Blaisdell Park

We are looking for volunteers to dance at COVO convention and DCF anniversary. Please message LaLa, Marie, or Dawn to join.

CANDIDATES for DCF Officers -
We are approaching an election at year's end and are currently seeking qualified candidates to join our team. Please message LaLa.

DCF T-shirt presale - We are in the process of ordering more DCF shirts. Please contact our DCF treasurer (Myrna or Dawn) to preorder. V-neck and crew cut style will be available. Price to be determined.

We appreciate the warm response from everyone who visited our booth this past Sunday, May 2nd during the Filipino Fiesta at Filcom Center in Waipahu. The dedication and hard work of our officers, and supporters making our vission come to life were essential in creating a booth reflecting our rich roots from Mindanao. Every contribution, no matter the size, played a role in our event's success.

Aloha DCF Family and Friends! It's almost here!! We invite you to join us at the Filipino Fiesta 2026 at the Filipino Community Center in Waipahu this Saturday from 10a.m. to 6p.m.

Please visit us and support our DCF booth at the cultural village inside the Flores ballroom at FilCom, which our booth will be open from 10a.m. until 4:30p.m. DCF will be representing Mindanao. Our booth will provide a platform to educate, celebrate, and connect with not just the Filipino community but everyone! We are delighted to create a meaningful booth to showcase our ancestral roots, and we invite you to visit us and the rest of the cultural village team!

A new showcase, Crown of Grains, for the cultural village has been established this year and each organization in the cultural village is entitled to a representative, our Crown of Grains representative will be Lyn T., DCF's Vp! We extend our best wishes to her. Win it, Sis Lyn!! 🎉👑

Your DCF dancers will also be performing at the main stage at around 1:50 to 2p.m. Come...Watch us!! See you all!! Mahalo for all for your continues support! 🥰
