Our next meeting is virtually, on Zoom, on December 9th on Tuesday, from 6pm to 7pm. I'll be logging on at 5:45pm if you wanted to chat. Free workshop for Region V RID members!

Join us April 11th from 6:30-8:30 pm MT for our next Mini Workshop. "Understanding the Acculturation Gap." presented by Trenton Marsh. IdahoRID is parting with Idaho ASLTA for our April Mini Workshop. IdahoRID members can join via zoom the day of workshop, register to receive a recording of the workshop to view for up to 2 weeks after the workshop, or you can register with Idaho ASLTA for dinner and a watch party at ISU in Meridian Idaho. We are conducting research on the state of the interpreting industry and we want to know about your experience! RID is launching a national survey with the purpose of exploring the experiences of sign language interpreters, and has received the approval of Rochester Institute of Technology’s Institutional Review Board.

Your input is essential! Your mission, should you choose to accept it, will be to answer a series of questions regarding your experience as an interpreter. This survey should take around 20 minutes or less to complete.

Individuals who currently work, or previously worked as an ASL interpreter, regardless of certification or membership status, job title, chapter affiliation, or specific industry, are welcome to participate!
