✨ Congratulations to our 2026 Laura N. Dowsett Award Recipient, Elaine Evans! ✨

The Junior League of Honolulu is proud to recognize Elaine Evans with the 2026 Laura N. Dowsett Award.

A League member since 1978 and League President from 1984–1985, Elaine has dedicated decades to strengthening our community through volunteerism, nonprofit leadership, and civic engagement. Her contributions have included helping establish the Honolulu Academy of Arts Guild and its beloved Kamaʻaina Christmas tradition, advancing the missions of Hawaii Theatre Center and the UH John A. Burns School of Medicine, and serving today as a docent at the historic Liljestrand House.

Elaine's lifelong commitment to service exemplifies the spirit of the Laura N. Dowsett Award and the values of the Junior League of Honolulu.

Please join us in congratulating Elaine on this well-deserved honor. We look forward to celebrating her at the Laura N. Dowsett Award Luncheon on June 29 at The Pacific Club.

✨ Exciting News from the Junior League of Honolulu! ✨

The Junior League of Honolulu is proud to join the Association of Junior Leagues International's signature initiative, “Every Woman. All Things.”

Through this initiative, we will host programs and conversations focused on issues impacting women today, including mental wellness, financial security, caregiving, aging, and the mental load that so many women carry every day.

As an organization committed to developing women leaders and strengthening our community, we look forward to creating opportunities for learning, connection, and meaningful dialogue throughout the year.

Women are often asked to be everything to everyone. Together, we can build a community that prioritizes well-being, support, and empowerment.
