What a powerful conversation on Hawaii's energy future! ⚡🌴 Mahalo to everyone who joined us for an evening exploring the path toward a more resilient, modern, and sustainable energy system for our islands at our first-ever 2030 Blueprint Live presented by JERA Americas

We heard from incredible leaders including Mark Glick (Hawaii State Energy Office), Shelee Kimura (Hawaiian Electric), Erik Montague (JERA Americas), and Alicia Moy (Hawaii Gas), moderated by Jennifer Ablan of Hawaii Business Magazine. Together, they dug into how Hawaii can modernize the grid, integrate renewables, and reduce energy costs — all while strengthening economic growth across the state.

Mahalo to Char's Bar, Graze Craze Honolulu, and Aloha Culinary Group for keeping everyone fueled with great food and drinks throughout the night.

The business community has a real role to play in shaping Hawaii's energy future, and conversations like this one move us closer to getting it right. 🤝

A lot of people hear “Chamber of Commerce” and think networking events and handshakes. But what’s happening behind the scenes matters way more.

The Chamber is actively involved in conversations that impact local businesses across Hawaiʻi, making sure business owners are represented when it counts. They’re also creating spaces where the right connections happen naturally, not just surface-level introductions.

It’s the kind of support that isn’t always visible, but makes a real difference over time. If you’re building something here, being connected to the right community can change how you grow. And more importantly, who you grow with.

Running a business in Hawaiʻi takes more than just a good product or service. It takes the right people around you, the right opportunities, and the right visibility. That’s exactly what the Chamber of Commerce Hawaiʻi is built to provide.

From meaningful connections to real exposure and resources that actually support growth, membership is designed to help you move forward with intention. It’s not about joining just to join. It’s about being part of a community that’s actively building and supporting local businesses.

The relationships you build and the rooms you get into can change the trajectory of your business. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to grow, having that kind of support matters. If you’re ready to take your business more seriously, this is a strong place to start.
