Revelation is designed not only to inform and assure Christians about God’s final purposes, but also to increase their longing for God and the realization of His purpose. The certainty of that consummation comforts saints during times of temptation and persecution.

“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away." The Omniscience Of God Allows Him To Know Every Thought And Word We Will Speak Even Before We Speak Them. For Believers, This Is Why We Can Pray To The Lord Silently In Our Thoughts. God’s Personal Presence Is Everywhere Throughout His Creation. His Knowledge Of Us Goes Before Our Birth To Our Conception. His Preparation Of Our Days Does Not Wait For Time. The Incomprehensible Greatness Of God’s Knowledge should Overwhelm The Believer To Know That One So Great Knows Him/Her So Intimately. His Love For Us Should Be A Source Of Consolation.

Experiencing The Lord’s Favor Does Does Not Always Mean Avoiding Trials. Sometimes God Calls His People To Go Through The Most Terrible Of Circumstances. Yet, None Of This Is Outside His Sovereign Control And Care. In These Circumstances We Are Being Refined, Equipped, And Built Up.

We Should Not Only Be Thankful When God Blesses Us When He Does, But Also When He Embraces Us Even Tighter When We Are Forgetful Of What He Has Done For Us, And Of The Battles That He Has Carried Us Through.

STAY HUMBLE IN ALL THINGS AND NEVER LOSE SIGHT OF THE ONE WITH WHOM ALL THINGS EXIST AND HAVE THEIR BEING.
