That’s a wrap! 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

Our Summer WSC Member Swim Clinic hosted by this evening was led by Head Coach Steve Allnutt and supported by coaches and student athletes.

Participants learned a variety of pre-swim warm-ups, proper catch technique, and how to improve the overall efficiency of their stroke. In addition, swimmers received direct feedback from the coaches and finished the clinic with a friendly relay!

Mahalos to Steve and his team for a fantastic clinic! The next one will be held in the fall on Halloween so keep an eye out for more info as it gets closer.

This year’s annual banquet featured a full agenda including a keynote address from the Surfrider Foundation & Blue Water Task Force, our annual awards ceremony, an overview of where to find data on ocean conditions & helpful tips on how to interpret it, plus the board’s annual meeting. Thank you to everyone who attended! We look toward to seeing you out in the water very soon!! 🤙

Mahalo Nui Loa to our volunteers who show up bright and early to each of our events and devote their time and efforts so that we can provide the best possible race experience for our swimmers.

As a small token of our appreciation the club puts on an annual volunteer brunch where we enjoy some food and talk story.

We are already looking forward to the summer race season kicking off soon!

Want to see your artwork on this year’s official shirt AND win some cash? We’re looking for your most creative designs for our upcoming Fin Swim.

The Prizes:
🥇 1st Place: $200 + bragging rights
🥈 2nd Place: $100

The Rules:
🔹 Max 2 colors (designing for a light-colored shirt).
