Masonic Charities of Hawaii was proud to debut its newly launched Masonic Charities of Hawaii T-shirt at the Grand Lodge of Hawaii's Annual Communication, creating a special and visible moment for the organization.

As the recognized 501(c)(3) charitable organization of the Grand Lodge of Hawaii, Masonic Charities of Hawaii is founded by Masons and run by Masons, with a mission rooted in Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth. The event also offered an opportunity to share the organization’s continued progress, including stronger governance, improved financial stewardship, expanded charitable outreach, and ongoing work to build a sustainable foundation for the future.

Masonic Charities of Hawaii extends its sincere thanks to everyone who contributed so generously to the Masonic Charities Flood Relief Campaign. Through financial support and in-kind donations from the Amazon Gift Lists, this effort helped move meaningful relief into the community following the recent storms on Oahu and Maui.

With seriousness, teamwork, and a shared sense of duty, MCH worked to help place these donated goods on Oahu into service through the Waialua Relief Center for the benefit of the public. This campaign reflects our continuing commitment to charity, service, leadership, continuity, and preparation across the jurisdiction.

Masonic Charities of Hawaii is grateful for the spirit of service shown by the Brothers of the Grand Lodge of Hawaii, who spent the morning volunteering at the Hawaii Foodbank alongside the Grand Master from our jurisdiction.

Moments like these remind us that charity is not only something we support, it is something we live. In times when life feels heavy or our spirits are tired, service offers a path back to purpose. By coming together to help meet the needs of others, we also strengthen the bonds that unite us as a community.

To serve is to give hope, and often to receive it as well.

Aloha Everyone,

As many of you are aware, our islands are currently experiencing severe flooding across Oʻahu and parts of Maui due to the ongoing storm system. Reports indicate dangerous conditions, including rising waters, road closures, and emergency evacuations.

On Oʻahu, communities are experiencing some of the most significant flooding in years, with ongoing rescue efforts and hazardous conditions. Maui is also under threat, with flood-prone areas seeing heavy rainfall and increasing risk to homes and families.

During this time, I urge everyone to please keep yourself and your families safe and prioritize safety:

• Stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary
• Avoid floodwaters and fast-moving streams
• Follow all emergency alerts and instructions from local authorities
• Move to higher ground if you are in a vulnerable area
• Check in on family, friends, and especially our kūpuna

Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected. The Masonic Charities stand in support of our communities, and we encourage everyone to come together in care and compassion during this difficult time.
