Access to Independence is growing our Hawaii team with two full-time openings:

💼 Regional Operations Coordinator ($28–$34/hr) — be the organizational heart of our Honolulu office.

🤝 Service Coordinator ($19–$25/hr) — work side by side with people with disabilities, building independence every day.

Both roles include full benefits, paid time off, and professional growth and the chance to make a real difference in our community.

In this role, you’ll work directly with individuals to help them reach their goals, navigate services, and build independence through advocacy and person-centered support.

Our Hawaii Branch has lots of fun events happening this month, check them out!

1. Youth Peer Support Group
Access to Independence welcomes all youth between the ages of 14 – 24 who have a disability to join us in this monthly event as we discuss various topics relating to transitioning into adulthood, experiences of living with a disability, coping strategies, and any other issues that you feel are relevant. We hope that you will see this as a safe, non-judgmental environment that can help you along your transition all while making friends in the process. Our program will be filled with guest speakers, skills building, recreational activities, and more in order to serve as a steppingstone for you to achieve your independence and be successful in life. For April, we will be working on our Time Management skills, learning how to recognize time challenges and overcome distractions.

2. Cross Disabilities Support Group

The Cross-Disabilities Support Group embraces individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Our monthly gatherings center on emotional support and social connection. In this welcoming space, consumers share experiences, explore coping strategies, and foster meaningful connections that go beyond boundaries. Expect a supportive community where heartfelt discussions and carefully curated activities foster emotional well-being and social bonds. For April, we will be celebrating creativity, skills, and rediscovering joy.
