Reading is Fundamental Honolulu Since 1978 RIF has distributed over 650,000 books to students in PreK-3rd Grade.

Reading is Fundamental (RIF) Honolulu is a local Hawaii non-profit 501c3 charitable organization providing free books to over 6,000 keiki at 18 public elementary schools.

RIF has just a couple more schools to visit in May, and then we’re pau for the school year! It’s been a great year of Fall, Winter, and Spring visitations, and the student helpers make it extra-special for our volunteer readers.
