SANER 2021 Discord server instructions
Discord is a platform for creating communities with text messaging, voice/video calls, and notifications. It runs on the main operation platforms and in web browsers. The communities are created on "Servers," and servers have channels to organize the discussions. SANER 2021 has a Discord server to provide a collaborative environment for chatting during the conference and help session chairs and speakers to collect participants' questions and comments.
Getting start
The SANER server is organized in general channels and session channels (day). Please, use the channel "welcome-introduction" to introduce yourself. Also, use the channel "support" to ask for support from chairs.
We organize the session channels per day (Day 1, Day 2, and Day 3), where you can find all session channels. Please use the correspondent channel for chatting (questions, comments, cheers) with session chairs, speakers, authors and other participants actively. Also, you can continue the discussion after the session. Each day has a channel "schedule" to find the Zoom link for the day and the daily schedule.
Finally, the server has 2 voice channels (General and Lounge) to meet other participants easily. Feel free to use these voice channels.
IMPORTANT: use a meaningful nickname that participants can identify you easily. If you have a nickname that the organization can not identify you as a regular participant, the organizer could remove your server's user.
