Our first MADD Spirit presentation! 🎉❤️

Last month, we visited Waimea High School on Kauai, reaching 120 students with an important message about celebrating homecoming safely, preventing underage drinking, and making responsible choices during school celebrations!

Students also got creative by making their own signs to encourage others to make positive decisions. 🙌

We're especially excited to bring our prevention education efforts to Kauai! Expanding our reach to neighbor island communities is an important part of our mission to ensure youth across Hawaii have the knowledge and resources to make safe, informed choices.

950 students. One powerful message. ❤️

A huge MAHALO to one of our incredible MADD Hawaii volunteers for presenting our Power of You(th) program to 950 students at James Campbell High School! 👏

Through education and open conversations, we're empowering young people to make safe, responsible choices and understand the dangers of underage drinking and impaired driving.

We're so grateful for volunteers who help us bring this important message to students across Hawaii!

📣 Want to make a difference? Whether you're interested in becoming a MADD volunteer or bringing one of our prevention presentations to your school or organization, we'd love to hear from you!

MAHALO, HAWAII ❤️

This year’s Move with MADD 5K was one to remember.

Because of the incredible support of our sponsors, walkers, teams, donors, volunteers, community partners, speakers, board members, and everyone who showed up for our mission, we not only reached our fundraising goal, we surpassed it!

Every registration, donation, volunteer hour, sponsorship, and step taken helps MADD Hawaii continue our work to end impaired driving, support victims and survivors, and prevent underage drinking throughout our islands.

From all of us at MADD Hawaii, mahalo for making this year’s walk such a success.❤️

We couldn’t have done it without you and we’re already looking forward to walking together again next year.

It was an honor to stand alongside Tanielu Vaifale’s mother at Hawaiʻi’s 2026 Move with MADD. ❤️🌺

Her love for her son, strength, and commitment to sharing his story are powerful reminders of why this work matters. Every life lost to impaired driving leaves behind a family, friends, and a community forever changed.

Mahalo for sharing Tanielu’s story and for turning love into advocacy. Together, we continue working toward safer roads and a safer Hawaiʻi for our keiki, ʻohana, and communities. 🤙🏽❤️

Mahalo to MADD Hawaiʻi for inviting the Hawaiʻi Alcohol Policy Alliance to support the 2026 Move with MADD on September 12! 🌺❤️

We were proud to stand alongside our community to raise awareness, support safer roads, and help prevent impaired driving. A huge thank you to everyone who walked, stopped by, shared the message, and helped make the day meaningful. Together, we’re moving toward a healthier, safer Hawaiʻi. 🤙🏽

Happy World Teachers’ Day! 🍎📚

Today, we celebrate the educators who do so much more than teach, they encourage, guide, support, and help shape the choices young people make every day.

MADD Hawaii is grateful for the teachers and school staff across our islands who welcome prevention education into their classrooms and help us empower youth to make safe, healthy choices.

Mahalo for all you do for Hawaii’s keiki and communities. ❤️

This November, Hawaii will glow red. ❤️

As we head into the holiday season, Illuminate Hawaii will shine a light on the lives forever changed by impaired driving.

On November 19, buildings and landmarks across the state will illuminate red in remembrance of those we have lost, in support of survivors and their families, and as a reminder that the choices we make on our roads matter.

Every red light represents more than a cause. It represents a life, a family, and a story that deserves to be remembered.

This is Illuminate Hawaii. ❤️
