She first picked up the ʻukulele, but when she discovered the acoustic guitar, something clicked. 🎸 It gave her a way to express herself through an instrument and a sound that felt natural, authentic, and uniquely her own.

That journey is at the heart of what the Henry Kapono Foundation On the Rise program is all about: creating opportunities for Hawaiʻi’s emerging artists to explore, grow, and build a future in music. 🌺
