Hawai'i Conservation Alliance Foundation A partnership dedicated to environmental stewardship, community engagement, and conservation capacity

The Hawai‘i Conservation Alliance Foundation (HCAF) is a non-profit organization established to actively promulgate information on Hawai‘i’s conservation values and needs, fund conservation grants, and promote conservation education and awareness in Hawai‘i. It was founded by members of the Hawai‘i Conservation Alliance, a collaboration of 24 agencies, educational institutions, and non-profit orga

nizations whose mission is to provide unified leadership and advocacy on conservation issues critical to Hawai‘i. The HCA envisions sustainable communities built upon a foundation of Hawaiian values and actively perpetuating thriving lands and seas. During the last week of July, the HCAF and HCA annually host the Hawai‘i Conservation Conference, bringing together the largest gathering of people actively involved in the protection and management of Hawai‘i’s natural environment.

Indy Zoo’s Uproar Conservation Challenge is a multi-round tournament that raises money for conservation. Help Ka Palupalu o Kanaloa and ʻŌhiʻa lehua come roaring back by casting your vote. Every vote helps our beloved plants advance to the next round and brings our partnership closer to the $10,000 conservation prize! Mahalo and T Fiber for bringing attention to so many endangered, rare, and important species across the world! These species are critically important to the health of their ecosystems and the planet.

Work day up mauka with one of our incredible partners, Army Natural Resources Program Oʻahu (ANRPO) 🌿

Our mission: out-plant 40 Phyllostegia Hirsute keiki of a rare native species, then get hands-on removing non-native grasses from the protected snail enclosure. Such a treat to see our native kūhili hanging out along the way 🐌💚

Big mahalo to ANRPO Supervisor Joby Rohrer and the amazing green team for all you do to care for our Hawaiian native ecosystems!
