The Honokaa Business Association is a volunteer organization of business owners and individuals dedicated to boosting the vitality and productivity of Honokaa and Hamakua as a whole. About Us

The Honokaa Business Association is a volunteer organization of business owners and individuals dedicated to boosting the vitality and productivity of Honokaa and Hamakua as a whole. Our cooperative aims to

improve the economic prosperity of the region by focusing on appreciation of the cultural and natural resources of the area and providing a local support network to empower the community’s well being. Today HBA is a strong community support network providing scholarships, social festivities and positive business fellowship. Our members sponsor and participate in workshops, town clean-ups, festivals and cultural celebrations. The Honokaa Business Association is enthusiastically committed to developing new and necessary projects, and fostering effective communication. HBA holds quarterly meetings and its Board of Directors meets the first Tuesday of each month.
