SAVE OUR YOUTH MINISTRYis a non-profit organization that is Christ-Centered in pursuit of providing a spiritual transformation in our youth, our communities, and the world. According to the National Survey on Drug Use and Health, reports children are already abusing drugs at 12 or 13. Other studies report the age children stat using is as young as 11 or 12. Some youth will experiment and stop or they will continue to use without significant consequences. It is difficult to know who will become addicted but there is some indicators: a family history of addiction; are depressed and have don’t feel like they “fit in”
The opposite of addiction is not recovery it is connection! Perhaps, Rita Pierson, an Educator said it best, “Every child deserves a champion-an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and insists that they become the best they can possibly be”
