Whirling Rainbow Disaster Ministry A disaster is defined as anything that causes human suffering or creates human needs that the disaster survivors cannot alleviate themselves.

Disaster + Ministry = Whirling Rainbow Disaster Ministry helping others. "Ministry" is from the Greek word diakoneo, meaning "to serve" or douleuo, meaning "to serve as a slave." In the New Testament, ministry is seen as service to God and to other people in His name. Whirling Rainbow Disaster Ministry is about helping others. Our focus is on homeless people whether they were homeless before a dis

aster or those who became homeless after a disaster. It is my goal to become a network for local churches and groups in order to obtain resources to help others.
