Friends of Borgne mourns the loss of our friend (and a friend of Borgne!) Richmond Futch. We join with his family, friends, colleagues and the artist community of Rochester, NY in celebrating Richmond's legacy and life’s work. We greatly appreciate the time and talent he shared with the children of the Fondasyon Dauphin and Scouts in Borgne Haiti back in 2019. Our prayers go out to all who loved Richmond. May the spirit and the beauty that permeated his work find continued life in all who lay eyes upon it as well as in the hearts of all of us whom he inspired. He was a true champion of the poor and marginalized, always seeing their humanity, their goodness, their value, and their talent. Thank you, Richmond, for a life well done.
