β€οΈ ONE YEAR! What an incredible journey it has been! πΎ
Our hearts are so full as we look back on the celebration of ONE YEAR of Petuniaβs Rescued Friends Adoption & Education Center!
What made this day so special wasn't just celebrating a milestone, but seeing our community come together to celebrate something we've all helped build. From the families who stopped by, to the familiar faces who have supported us along the way, to the new friends we made that day. It was such a beautiful reminder of what makes this community so special!
A HUGE thank you to all of our wonderful local vendors who came out to celebrate with us! Tony's Food Truck, Love Puppy Bakery, and Castroville Canine Corner, thank you for taking the time to be part of our special day! We loved having so many local businesses come together to celebrate with us!
And a special thank you to Ben for providing the wonderful hayrides! They were such a fun addition to our celebration, and we appreciate you helping make the day even more memorable for everyone!
To Least of Saints, thank you for bringing your motorcycles out and being such a special part of our celebration! We absolutely loved having you there! We also want to give a very special thank you to Anthony Fernandez, Chaplain of the Tsebaoth β Least of Saints Chapter, for reaching out to collaborate with us for our one-year celebration. We are so thankful you brought our two organizations together for such a meaningful day!
And to make things even sweeter, our precious Betty and Shelby were adopted TOGETHER by a wonderful family from Least of Saints! β€οΈπΎ Knowing these two get to begin their next chapter together in a loving home makes this celebration even more special. It's moments like these that remind us why we do what we do!
We also want to give an incredibly special thank you to Diana and Leo Fernandez, the owners of the building we are blessed to call our Adoption & Education Center. Thank you for opening your property to us and allowing us the opportunity to turn this space into something so much bigger than we ever imagined. Having a place where we can care for animals, welcome our community, and continue growing our mission has meant the world to us. Your kindness, trust, and support have played such an important role in making this dream a reality, and we are truly blessed to have you both as part of our journey! β€οΈ
To our incredible donors and supporters, none of this would be possible without you. Every donation, every kind word, every shared post, and every helping hand has played a part in making this dream a reality. You've helped us create a place where animals are given second chances and where our community can come together through a shared love for animals.
And to our AMAZING volunteers, where would we be without you?! You are truly the heartbeat of Petunia's. You give your time, your energy, and so much of your hearts to the animals in our care. So much of what you do happens behind the scenes, and we hope you know just how much you are loved and appreciated. This center is as much yours as it is ours! β€οΈ
Above all, we give all the glory to God. There have been so many moments throughout this journey when we didn't know how everything was going to come together, but God has continued to open doors, bring the right people into our lives, and provide in ways we never could have imagined. We know without a doubt that His hand has been in this journey from the very beginning.
One year ago, we opened the doors to our Adoption & Education Center with big dreams for what it could become. Today, we look around and see not just a building, but a community of people who genuinely care, animals whose lives have been changed, and a future filled with so many possibilities.
To everyone who has been part of our first year, THANK YOU! Whether you've been with us from the beginning or just recently discovered Petunia's, you are part of our story, and we are so incredibly blessed.
Here's to another year of saving lives, bringing people together, and seeing what God has in store for Petunia's Rescued Friends! β€οΈ
