Everyone at the Hondo Art League would like to give special thanks to our donors and sponsors to this year's Fine Arts camp.

Fine Arts Camp 2026 at the Hondo Art League was a great experience not only for our young artists, but also for instructors.

Graphite, watercolor landscapes, zentangle, elegant writer, watercolor faux stained glass, line and wash, murals and public art using acrylics, were just a few of the lessons that were delivered for this artistic exploration.

Everyone also got a glimpse of the importance of fine art basics such as, proper brush and art handling, matting and framing your work, caring for supplies, and how to submit work for galleries, museums and art shows.

Keep on the lookout for our Open Studio Saturdays, Back to School workshops and classes, Youth Art show in the fall, and much more!

We want to thank our volunteers, art instructors, Danielle Bombek our youth Director, and everyone that helped in providing a unique artistic experience for our community.

Your time and dedication to our programs and organization is greatly appreciated.

We want to thank the Hondo Downtown Business Association for their generous donation to the Hondo Art League.

Gifts like this help us to provide more for the community through art and will allow us to provide opportunities not only for our youth, but for adults in Hondo and surrounding areas.

Congratulations to our Hondo Art League Scholarship recipient, Ainsley Bohlen.

Ainsley carries so much more than just self-taught talent and an infectious smile.

She embraces every experience of her life’s journey with her, which shows in the way she engages with others.

We are excited for her and the new chapter she is about to begin.

Hondo Art League member Danielle Bombek is a local artist, mentor, instructor, our treasurer and Director of HAL’s Summer Art Camp, and all youth programs and events.

She not only is a local source for community inspiration, but is sharing her many talents with the Bandera community.

Danielle is being featured at Bandera Kronkosky Library the month of May and June.

We are proud of the volunteer work she does for Hondo, and her dedication to the organization.

What a great day for the Hondo Art League at yesterday’s “Jazz and Art Festival”.

We made great connections, welcomed community support, and most importantly sold some beautiful art.

Isn’t that what it’s all about?
Being part of an organization that delivers opportunity and inspiration, working together as a unified group through art?

We want to thank everyone that came out to support us and to our members that show up and help us continue to grow.

A special thanks to Historic Downtown Hondo for including us in this event.
