Friends of Citrus VISION: To be a grief resource for people of all ages and stages of life. MISSION: To provide help, hope and healing to people in grief.

Friends of Citrus and the Nature Coast is a charitable organization providing community grief support workshops for anyone who has experienced a loss; telephone support; grief support resources for all ages; social support activities; wellness support programs; educational materials for parents and teachers; and children's grief support camps.

It's hard to beleive that we are nearly half way through 2026. Just as the year is going by so fast, our groups and featured activites are not slowing down either. L.I.F.T. group has some fun activities planned including a trip to Mertailor's and lunch outings. You want to learn about birds, then join us on Friday, June 19 for a workshop "ALL ABOUT BIRDS" in our Wings Center. As usual, we have our monthly movie on Thursday, June 25 at 2pm in our Wings Center as well. Our is grief support groups, wellness programs, and social programs are at no cost, except for L.I.F.T. lunches and outings.

We are in the month of May. Some great things happening this month including the Friday, May 8th, Remembering Mom Mother's Day Tea. This annual event is open to the public. Our monthly movie is "New Life" which will be shown on Thursday, May 28.

We offer wellness, social, and grief support services on specific days, times, and locations. If you or someone you now who is in need of grief support, please feel free to join one of the grief support groups or call our office at (352) 249-1470 with any questions.
