This morning really hurt me.

I’m out here across the city of Chicago doing what God called me to do ,feeding the homeless, helping people, showing love, and trying to make a difference one person at a time.

I pulled into McDonald’s just to grab coffee because I don’t even eat the food there. A homeless man walked up to me in the drive through asking for money. I told him honestly I didn’t have cash, but I would gladly buy him anything he wanted off the menu.

Instead of accepting the food, he looked at me and said,
“I don’t want your food… I want the money.”

That moment hurt my soul more than words can explain.

Not because of the money…
but because I genuinely came from a place of love and compassion. I was trying to help the best way I could in that moment, and to have kindness rejected like that really weighed heavy on my heart.

I’m speechless today.
Mentally and emotionally drained.

When you spend your life trying to feed people, uplift people, and remind people they matter, moments like this can really shake your spirit.

But even through the hurt, I pray God keeps my heart soft, my intentions pure, and my mission strong.
Because this work is bigger than one painful moment.

“Sometimes all it takes is one hot, steaming steak kebab served with love to remind a person that life still has hope.

In the middle of cold nights, hard times, and personal storms,
a fresh hot meal can warm more than the body…
it can warm the heart and restore the spirit.

That sizzling aroma…
that first hot bite…
that feeling of being treated with dignity instead of judgment
that’s the kind of love people never forget.

Because when you serve the best food to people going through the worst moments of their lives,
you’re not just feeding hunger…
you’re feeding hope.”

“On this Memorial Day, as we honor the heroes who sacrificed for our freedom, let us also remember the families, veterans, seniors, and neighbors silently struggling with hunger.

Food recovery is more than saving meals…
it’s saving dignity, restoring hope, and making sure no blessing goes to waste.

A recovered meal can feed a hungry child,
comfort a veteran,
support a struggling family,
and remind people that their community still cares.

This Memorial Day, let us not only remember the fallen…
let us serve the living with love, compassion, and purpose.”

“Sometimes the greatest test of humanity isn’t what we say…
it’s what we do after we notice someone suffering.

When you drive past a hungry person, a homeless family, or someone crying out for help…
do you keep going and pretend you didn’t see them,
or does your heart make you turn around?

Because compassion isn’t just feeling sorry for people
it’s being willing to stop, go back, and help change someone’s moment of pain into a moment of hope.

Who are we as human beings if we ignore the suffering of others?”

When you truly love, feed , embrace Gods People you can’t remove GOD from the Mission .

because once God is taken out of the Service . The heart behind it begins to fade.

keep God first in everything that you do for his people, and love , provision , purpose , and Blessings will fall into place .

“Never give up.
God’s plan is always bigger than anyone’s opinion, rejection, or obstacle.

Just when you think it’s over…
God steps in and says, ‘Watch what I do next.’

The delay wasn’t denial, it was preparation for something greater.”
