We had a wonderful meeting this weekend! We discussed the next steps we wanted to take with MEA and had a wonderful time meeting new Montessorians. We had representatives from 7 different Montessori schools across the state. It's so exciting to see Montessori alive and well in Alabama. Let's keep this going!!

Important parking information about our meeting this Saturday:

We Love Homewood day will be going on in Homewood Park a couple blocks away from the school. We will be blocking off parking spaces at Creative Montessori School in order to save those spaces for MEA attendees. When you arrive, if you see a parking space blocked off with tape or cones, please feel free to move the tape and cones and park there :)

If you are coming with a group from your school, if you can do some carpooling to save cars, that could also help our parking situation.

Montessori schools and training centres can be found in all parts of the world. In Ethiopia, the Bruh Tesfa Montessori Training Centre has been in existence since 1986 and around 885 teachers have been trained. Sr. Lettegrabiel Abraha was the Principal of the centre for many years and then relocated to the North, where she is utilising her many years of experience as a Montessori teacher and teacher trainer to realize a Children’s House for internally displaced children.
