Homestead Music Project

Homestead Music Project Homestead Music Project is a free after school program aim to promote social inclusion through music. All classes and instruments are FREE of cost.

The activities are designed to provide high-quality music training in order to obtain children’s cognitive, emotional and social development. Homestead Music Project will offer pre-orchestral and orchestral program for at children from 5 to 10 and as the program develops we will be able to work with high school age students. These lessons are given one or two days a week after school. Students w

ill receive general music theory as writing and reading notation, rhythm and melody . All this in preparation for instrumental performing where they will learn to play strings, winds or percussion instruments. Once the children orchestra is set they will begin performing through different public locations to encourage other kids to join them in the program. Our classes include private lessons, group lessons and orchestral rehearsals. The Homestead Music Project is a tuition-free program and gets its funding through donations so help us with this project by becoming a music sponsor. All contributions will provide music education and instruments for the kids.
