A huge thank you to Ana for donating this amazing aviary to Keeks’ Birdhouse!

This generous donation means so much more than just a new enclosure—it opens up much-needed space at our sanctuary and allows us to say YES to more cockatiels and parakeets in need of safe, permanent placement.

Every new space we’re able to create gives another bird the opportunity to live in a secure, enriching environment surrounded by others of their kind. Donations like this directly help us expand our ability to rescue and provide lifelong sanctuary to animals who need us.

Thank you Ana for helping us continue to grow and make room for more little lives. We are incredibly grateful for your support! 💚🦜

Meet Coco, one of the newest surrenders to arrive at Keeks' Birdhouse.

Coco has already been through a lot. As you can see, there is significant feather loss, and while we don't yet know the exact cause, Coco will need a comprehensive veterinary examination to determine the best course of treatment and begin the road to recovery.

Every animal that comes through our doors deserves a second chance, and we're committed to giving Coco exactly that. From veterinary care and diagnostics to a nutritious diet, enrichment, and daily care, we're hopeful that with time, patience, and proper treatment, Coco can begin to heal.

We're hoping to raise $800 to help cover Coco's initial medical care and recovery expenses. Every donation, no matter the amount, helps make a difference. If you're unable to donate, simply sharing this post helps us reach more people who may be able to support Coco's journey.

To help Coco, please visit keeksbirdhouse.org.

Thank you for helping us provide a safe place for animals in need.

Interested in meeting Cashew? Send us a message to learn more.

Cashew is seeking an experienced cockatoo home where he can be the center of attention. Due to his vocal nature, apartment living is not a suitable environment for him. He would do best in a home without small children, as he has shown aggression toward them.

Cashew does very well with adults, both men and women, and is an active, healthy young bird at just 4 years old. He is looking for a committed forever home that understands the unique needs and personality of cockatoos.

Adoption agreement and adoption fee required. Experienced cockatoo homes only.
