This is a 4 week adult small group. Have you had any negative life event that could use some healing?
I can think of so many, and we’ve almost all been there:
Death, divorce, job loss, friendship loss, moving, career change, empty nest, illness, and so many more that rock our world.
It is counseling-based, so Two Roads will be leading the group.

Today’s yoga retreat was privately booked and it was a perfect day: Merrit Spicer from Yoga on the Go partnered with us. She provided yoga under our favorite giant oak tree, guests had a beautiful snack and mimosas, and they took our miniature horses and alpacas on a hike through our wooded trails. We ended the day making alpaca fiber necklaces.

Cocoa, our newest member of the family, makes his arrival. He’s a baby highland calf, and we are in love. His parents are Liya and James Rogers and family, just like Rip. We’ll post a family photo soon.

We’re very excited that Lexy will be a mental health intern with Two Roads Wellness! She’ll be taking clients here at Roxy’s House one day per week with her supervisor Shelby. Her other days will be spent seeing clients at Two Roads Danville location.

Please join us in welcoming Lexy Reed to Two Roads Wellness Clinic! Lexy is a Mental Health Intern at our Danville office and at Roxy's House. She earned her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work.

Lexy brings a compassionate, open-minded, and trauma-informed approach to care, with interests in anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, and affirming support for diverse communities. We’re so excited to have her on the team!

How is this speech therapy, you say? We get questions all the time about how we are doing SPEECH THERAPY with animals.
We need CONNECTION before we can have communication and just look at this connection between child and animal. There were a number of goals addressed during this interaction (modeling phrases, mitigating gestalts, adding new language. And the video is priceless for future therapy.
