This year was a banner year for the Kachemak Bay Shorebird Festival, with a record number of attendees and a record number of Junior and Teen Birders!

The Junior and Teen Birder program was made possible this year through the generosity of the Homer Foundation, who provided an amazing grant which allowed us to purchase supplies and prizes for the Junior Birder program like binders, bird books, legos, and more.

We're so grateful to the incredible team over at the Homer Foundation for all their hard work and generosity, as well as for how smooth they made the whole application process. The Homer Foundation
