Some good news for local tourism businesses: The State of Alaska's Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development recently announced the structure of a $90 million tourism and business relief grant program for businesses that have lost revenue due to COVID-19.

The plan will involve an application process which will be open for 30 days, starting in the fall at a date to be determined. Beginning today all travelers age 12 and older can get a free COVID-19 vaccination in Alaska! Vaccination clinics are available at our Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Juneau airports – as well as many other locations throughout the state.
